The cabin at the end of the first trip.

The cabin after three days.  We accomplished a lot...had to stop and get back to Bend.  We had beautiful weather and great fellowship!  Bill, Travis, Amanda, Tashia, and I worked on the cabin while Mom cooked all the meals.  It was a wonderful experience!  The next trip will be finishing the siding and installing windows and doors!

Putting on the finishing touches preparing for the roof. The first day was building the floor.  The second day was building the walls.  The third day we put the walls together and putting up the rafters.  Full days!!!

Raising the first wall.

The floor has insulation held in by chicken wire.  It sits on blocks.  To build the first wall we needed the dimensions of the windows.  Our windows were given to us by a co-worker.  They are nice, big vinyl windows.  This is the front of the house.  How exciting!!!
